Cantabile Choir

Click here to register Cantabile Boys and Girls Choir  |  Grades 4-7 Students in Cantabile will focus on singing as an ensemble to prepare music for the concert, including songs in foreign languages. Students will also begin practicing basic sight-singing using solfege. We will enjoy different genres and styles of music, unison, 2 and 3 part music, rounds and folk songs, movement, and studying a little music history and famous composers. Music Makers

Click here to register Music Makers  |  Grades K-3 Students participating in our Music Makers group will have opportunities both to learn and perform. Students will sing as an ensemble and prepare songs for the Christmas concert, but will also focus on becoming comfortable performing individually as well. Students will learn and sing rounds, folk songs, musical stories, and move and dance. Solfege will be introduced and used as we learn to read music. Click here to register Ballet Level 2  |  Grades 2-4 My goal is to build on the foundation of ballet laid in the Level 1 class using Christian and classical music. The girls will continue to lean new arm and feet positions, turns and jumps, posture, creative movement, and work to build a strong core balance. They will also have the opportunity to learn two dances each semester, which they will perform during recital at the end of the semester. As I teach my students, I want to show them something even more beautiful than steps—their heart. A young girl’s heart is so precious. My desire is to show my students how to use their heart to worship God through dance. Every heart is special to God, no matter how big or how small. This class, while divided into semesters, is intended to be for a full year so the girls are able to continue building on what they have learned during the fall semester.
