Hannah Jackson

I am passionately in love with the art of theatre. I grew up in sunny South Florida where I pursued musical theatre training with youth performing arts studios. For some crazy reason I decided to go to college in FREEZING cold Minneapolis, MN. At North Central University I received a beautifully well-rounded education in theatre. I was able to experience multiple facets of the university’s main stage productions: performing principal and chorus roles, lighting design, costume design, stage management, and assistant directing. Through my theatre, voice, and dance classes I developed a deeper understanding of the art form as well as improved my abilities as a theatre artist. I love acting and directing equally. I live for the magical sensation of immersing myself into a character and portraying her to a captivated audience. I am filled with exhilaration when breathing life into a script by orchestrating the components needed to effectively portray a story. I LOVE teaching what I know to others. I want to spend my life invested in the art of theatre. I never want to stop learning and growing. I want to play a major role in keeping theatre alive and growing.

$150 per student
After two children – 50% off per child
We understand cost is a factor in determining whether to participate or not.
Please consider:
1. The theatrical training each student receives – over 70 hours of instruction!
2. The cost to put on a production: rehearsal space, theater rental, stipends, set materials, etc. Licensing and royalties alone are around $3,400.

Our fall musicals are open to any homeschool student whether he or she has taken any TCHA classes or not. We want to give any willing student an opportunity to experience live theater.

Seussical the Musical was TCHA’s 2017 production. We had over 60 kids in the cast and performed 7 shows over two weekends at the Lakeville Area Arts Center. What a run! Phenomenal group of cast, crew and parents who made it a smashing success!

Singin’ In the Rain, Jr. was TCHA’s fall 2016 musical at Mount Olivet Church November 17-19! What great memories! Thanks to the students, directors, parents and audience members for your support! Some of the lead roles were double cast; thus, two cast photos. Photo credit: Laura Gray. Thanks!

The Music Man was TCHA’s first full-length musical! Thanks to all the directors, cast, crew and parents who helped make it a hit. Watch for a new musical every fall.

We would like to say thank you to all the performers and crew for such an enjoyable production of The Music Man. Congratulations to all for this wonderful performance. Be proud of your accomplishment and always cherish the memories. Again, thank you so much. You all rock.
