Judah Ben-Hur is a Jewish Prince whose life drastically changes as the result of the betrayal of a friend. Set in the beginning of the first century, this play shows themes of conviction, imprisonment, anger and a revenge plot that ultimately leads to encounters with a Nazarene, resulting in Judah’s repentance and salvation. This stage adaptation is by John McGreevey, and is based on the 1880 epic novel Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ by Lew Wallace.
