We couldn’t have asked for better weather to showcase our selection for the fall musical…Singin’ In the Rain, Jr. We had over 40 people brave the downpours and flooding roads to come to our Reveal Party on June 14, and they even stayed to watch the entire movie!

The evening opened with Director Hannah Jackson and Musical Chair Dana Piper teasing the audience by singing lines from various musicals. Then the movie was shown. After a week of hush, the news is out!

Audition and rehearsal dates will be posted soon on the Musical page of the TCHA website. Stay tuned for all the details.

The TCHA musicals are open to all homeschool students whether they are or have been a part of TCHA or not. Anyone who auditions will make the cast in some role. Since we are passionate about musicals, we want all interested or curious students to have the experience of being on stage. Even though the weeks of a musical are intense, students come away with deeper friendships, greater self-confidence, and more self-discipline.

Anyone who has every been part of a play or musical will tell you it was one of the best times of his or her life.

Hey, life can be challenging. Let’s learn to sing and dance in the rain!
