Twin Cities Homeschoolers for the Arts presents our 2024/25 theatre season centered around the theme:

Journeys of Inherent Worth.

Join us as we explore the transformative nature of growth and discovery in these stories. Each production offers a unique perspective on the theme “Journeys of Inherent Worth”, inviting audiences to reflect on their own life journey, and that we are each “fearfully and wonderfully made”- “a workmanship”, poem, or story that is being written and revealed as we journey through our own unique life circumstances.

Cinderella

Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" follows Cinderella's journey from adversity to belonging, as she discovers the transformative power of love amidst adversity. With the help of her Fairy Godmother, she captures the Prince's heart at the royal ball, and discovers her true value outside of the constraints of her unfair situation and family’s deceptions. As she embraces her true identity, “Cinderella” beautifully showcases the message that every individual possesses inherent worth.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd from 11:30am-3:30pm in Lakeville's new Fine Arts building adjacent to the Lakevile Area Arts Center's parking lot, rooms 101 and 103. Click the button below for more information on auditions.

Velveteen Rabbit

Observe the Rabbit’s journey toward authenticity and be reminded that our true value lies in the love we give and receive. This timeless play told by TCHA’s younger students, will capture the hearts of audiences of all ages, leaving them with a beauty of appreciation for deep authenticity and connection.

Frankenstein

Dr. Victor Frankenstein, driven by his desire to unlock the secrets of life, creates a creature from lifeless matter. As the creature grapples with its existence, it embarks on a profound journey to discover purpose in a world of rejection. Through a series of encounters with humanity and its creator, the creature confronts identity, acceptance, and belonging, ultimately questioning what defines true worth. As the story unfolds, "Frankenstein" explores the consequences of unchecked ambition and the life changing impact of acceptance and compassion, leaving audiences pondering the complexities of the human condition and the journey towards inherent worth.

Frozen, Jr.
